SDG Move Joins the Brainstorming Session on the Development of BCG Indicators at the In-depth Seminar on BCG Curriculum by OSMEP and NSTDA.

June 29, 2023 – The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) organized an in-depth seminar on the BIO-CIRCULAR-GREEN Curriculum under the project to drive the promotion system for small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with BCG (BIO-CIRCULAR-GREEN ECONOMY) at Nile Room 4, BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok.

The participants of the seminar came from various sectors, including the government, the private sector, and entrepreneurs from SMEs, startups to large companies. One of the activities of the seminar was the “BCG Indicator Workshop” to brainstorm ideas from participants on the design and development of BCG Indicator frameworks for entrepreneurs, which currently have no clear definition. The activity was led by:

  • Mr. Chalerm Kokanutthaphon and Dr. Suwanit Boonyasuwat, Working Group on BCG Model, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI)
  • Assistant Professor Chol Bunnag, Director of the SDG Research and Support (SDG Move)
  • Dr. Saravanee Singtong, Director of the Sustainable Future Policy Group, NSTDA

The development of these indicators will be a useful tool for evaluating the performance of entrepreneurs to access funding sources and support measures for driving entrepreneurs forward. It will also help entrepreneurs who want to improve the BCG dimensions of their businesses.
