SDG Move Discusses Sustainability Collaboration with Visiting Professor from Indonesia, Aiming to Drive SDG Research and Education

February 16–19, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Kaewkwan Tangtipongkul, Associate Dean for International Affairs, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr.Berto Mulia Wibawa, Head of the Department of Business Management at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia, on the occasion of his visit as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University (Thaprachan Campus).

During this visit, Asst. Prof.Chol Bunnag, Director of the Centre for SDG Research and Support (SDG Move), held a strategic meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Berto Mulia Wibawa to discuss academic collaborations. The discussion focused on organizing online training sessions for research and teaching related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, both parties exchanged knowledge and recommendations regarding the implementation of the City-level SDG Index in Indonesia, serving as a framework for driving sustainability policies at the local level.

In addition to the mission with SDG Move, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Berto Mulia Wibawa served as a keynote speaker on topics concerning Social Entrepreneurs and Industrial Economics. He also joined a consultative meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Kaewkwan Tangtipongkul to lay the groundwork for future institutional cooperation, including student exchange programs and joint research initiatives.
