PSDS Thammasat and SDG Move Co-organize the International Symposium on Development Studies: “Reshaping Life, Reviving Society”

August 9, 2023 – Puay Ungphakorn College of Social Sciences, Thammasat University, in collaboration with the Centre fos SDG Research and Support (SDG Move), organized the 2023 International Symposium on Development Studies in the theme “Reshaping Life, Reviving Society” from August 9-11, 2023 at the Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel in Bangkok. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Nitinant Wisaweisuan, Dean of the Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, who gave an opening speech and welcomed the participants.

The symposium aimed to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from various disciplines to discuss and exchange knowledge on development issues. The event featured research presentations under three sub-themes: (1) Volunteering for Development, (2) Sustainable Management, and (3) Social Enterprise. Dr. Nuttavikhom Phanthuwongpakdee, Deputy Director, and Ms. Praewpan Sirilurt, Knowledge Communication Officer from SDG Move, also presented research papers under the theme of Sustainable Management.

In addition to the research presentations, the symposium also featured a keynote speech and a panel discussion by development experts. Assistant Professor Chol Bunnag, Director of SDG Move, and Ms. Nantinee Malanon, Deputy Director of SDG Move, moderated the event.
