SDG Move, Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, The Spirit of Football, and FES co-organize a sustainability event “One Ball, One World – SDG Education”

March 31, 2023 – SDG Move, Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, the non-profit organization The Spirit of Football (SOF), and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Thailand co-organized the event “One Ball, One World – SDG Education” from March 31 to April 1, 2023 at the 100-Year Puay Learning Park, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus. The event was attended by interested student representatives from the university and young people from the Young Sustainable Development Association of Thailand (YSDA).

The workshop activity under the topic “Role of Sports in Sustainable Urban Development” used football as a tool to create dialogue among participants. The goal was to understand sustainability issues through the lens of football, learn about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through SDG Football, and link them to building the role of participation of various sectors in responding to sustainability issues, including climate change and gender equality at the individual, organizational, and community levels.
