SDG Move attended FUTURE TRENDS AHEAD PRESS & PURPOSES to share the sustainability trends in 2024.

December 13, 2023 – Dr. Nuttavikhom Phanthuwongpakdee, Deputy Director of the Centre for SDG Research and Support (SDG Move), attended the ‘Press Conference Future Trends Ahead & Awards 2024’ at True Digital Park, organized by the online news agency, Future Trends. The event was the launch of the book “Future Trends Ahead 2024”, which presents business strategies and updates on new future trends. The book covers topics in economics, politics, technology and AI, finance and investment, sustainability, consumer trends, marketing, future career trends, leadership, health, and cities and lifestyles. The SDG Move team contributed to the book on the topic of “Sustainability”.

At the same event, Dr. Nuttavikhom Phanthuwongpakdee also participated as one of the speakers updating future trends in the topic of “Sustainability Trends 2024: How Can People, Society, and the Environment Make Modern Businesses Go Forward?” [Thai: เทรนด์ความยั่งยืน 2024: คน สังคม สิ่งแวดล้อม ทำให้ธุรกิจยุคใหม่ไปต่อได้อย่างไร]. The main point of his speech was to emphasize the understanding that the business sector has of sustainability.

“How well do we understand the word ‘sustainability’? Many people, when they talk about sustainability, usually think only of the environment. But in fact, there are also social and economic dimensions. Therefore, it is very important that we must promote the economy, society, and the environment at the same time.
